Hi,

I am trying to add my first goat under the Individual Animals menu but cannot work out how to add the sire and dam.

Hi kateholt,

If you are entering your first animal, then you won't be able to select a sire or dam for the new animal as these have to be selected from other animals in your records.

If you wish, you can add your first animal, then add the sire and also the dam and then update the dam and sire for your first animal that you recorded.
